She Turned Her Messes Into A Message

“Why AMEN?” AMEN means YES! We say it at the end of the prayer to mean, “Yes, I believe in God’s promises.” 

But what are God’s promises anyway?

Does He want to heal you? Does He love you unconditionally? Does He have a good future in store for you? Does He know all the guilt and regret you’re carrying and wants to take it away from you?

YES. 

Take hold of these promises and life will change for you. Holding onto these promises will get you from point A to point B. Don’t settle for the point A you’re living in because you know SOMETHING BETTER IS IN STORE FOR YOU. 

This is why AMEN is created — for you to know that what God has for you exceeds and is far more than you can ask for or imagine. 

For the woman who wants to build a successful career, you are made to become a difference maker.

For the woman whose hearts desire isn’t fulfilled yet, you are made to discover what you’re meant to do and be pulled towards a life you wake up excited for.

For the woman feeling broken and ashamed, God wants you to find acceptance and accept His love that takes all the pain away. 

For the woman going through emotional rollercoasters, God wants you to find so much peace and overflowing joy.

Welcome to the story of transformation, of being filled to the point of overflow.

At Àmen, we believe that we are created to be "filled to overflow".

10% goes to our chosen neighbors -- young women we send to school.

With a heart for giving, a love for others, and a passion for changing lives in small and big ways; we advocate for the people around us. We call them "Neighbors" in honor of the commandment in Matthew 22: 39 (NRSV): "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" by Jesus. With all of our neighbors, we form a close bond with them so that we can curate a way to help them that is specific to them. It is our goal to help them get to their Point B, achieving their goals and becoming the person that they want to be. They, in turn, will be empowered, enabled, and inspired to give back through helping others themselves.

They then become filled to overflow too.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;

where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
